Meet Savanna, the dynamic owner and lead instructor of Body Love.
With a Bachelor of Education, majoring in educational psychology and creative arts, Savanna brings a wealth of pedagogical expertise to the studio. Her dedication to teaching shines through in every class, creating a nurturing environment where students of all ages and skill levels can thrive.
As a qualified, advanced acrobatics teacher of ten years, Savanna adds an exciting dimension to Body Love Studio’s dance offerings. Her mastery of acrobatics enhances our students' strength, balance, and creativity, elevating their dance journeys.
But Savanna is not just about dance; she is a holistic educator. As a certified yoga instructor, she infuses mindfulness, flexibility, and inner peace into the studio, promoting well-being beyond the dance floor.
With a Bachelor of Performing Arts, Savanna brings a deep understanding of the art form, instilling a profound appreciation for dance in our students.

A Love For The Arts
Savanna is a professionally trained vocalist and acrobat, who started her teaching journey in 2012 under the guidance of esteemed acrobatics instructor, Shalane Alwright of The Dance Platform. After completing her degree in Musical Performance at AFDA, Savanna obtained her Bachelor of Education while starting up the acrobatics and musical theatre department at Swish Studio, owned by Cathy Barry. She began teaching Grade 12 Drama at Destiny Life Academy in 2019 and went on to becoming the intermediate phase curriculum developer for dance and drama at Teneo Online School in 2021. Savanna founded Creative Hearts Outreach, which seeks to provide disadvantaged children with a creative outlet.
